Expert Witness & Medico-Legal Psychological Assessments
I have been instructed as an Expert Witness in a number of Criminal (both Youth and Adult) and Child/Family proceedings. I have conducted over 20 expert witness assessments since 2007, further to instructions from Defence and Family solicitors, Local Government Children’s Services departments and directly from the Court.
Although specialising in Youth Justice work, I have experiencing of undertaking assessments in the following areas: intellectual and psychological functioning, Effective Participation and capacity to understand proceedings, Violence and Sexual Offending risk, psychological/psychiatric disorders, Suggestibility and Compliance.
